SERVICES

I use an integrative approach, blending empirically based treatments with relational, emotion focused intervention. We all have the capacity to heal within us, by aligning heart, brain, and body.

 ADVANCED CLINICAL TRAINING

Each individual’s treatment plan is created collaboratively. Every person has their own unique experience that I want to be with and know, and discover together what still needs healing. Together we can find an approach that aligns with your core needs and utilizes your strengths. We augment treatment as we go, to ensure that we are promoting the change that you are seeking through our work.

The No Surprises Act

In 2020, The No Surprises Act was created to prevent individuals from receiving unexpected medical charges for out-of-network care.  Under this act, self-pay or uninsured clients seeking out of network therapy are entitled to receive an estimate of the cost the therapeutic services.  As of 2022, psychologists are required to provide what is called a good faith estimate of their services for these clients.

To abide by these new requirements, I will ask you about whether you are submitting to your insurance company, if I’m not seeing you in-network. If you meet the aforementioned criteria, I will share an estimate of the costs of our services when we start treatment, and update this estimate as our therapy changes, and each calendar year. If you find the cost of our services is not in alignment with the provided estimate, you may challenge the bill. Please don’t hesitate to speak with me about this if you have any questions or concerns.
